Pediatric Rehabilitation
Customized assistive devices for the youngest children, tailored to their age and developmental stage
Providing children and adolescents with rehabilitation aids requires an individualized assessment of their physical condition, developmental goals, and life circumstances. The goal is to provide the best possible support for mobility, independence, and participation in daily life, at school, and during leisure time.
The foundation of needs-based care is close collaboration with social pediatric centers (SPZ), doctors, therapists, and families. The assistive devices are individually tailored to the child’s needs and can be regularly adjusted as the child develops.
The range of assistive devices includes, among other things, rehabilitation strollers, children’s wheelchairs, seating shells, standing frames, therapy chairs, and other assistive devices for daily life, school, and leisure activities. In addition, custom-made devices and adjustments are available to meet a variety of requirements.
Continuous support throughout the entire care process helps ensure that the assistive devices are used optimally over the long term and adapted to the child’s development.
